This weekend turned out to be a beautiful one. A few overnight rain showers to dampen the earth did not spoil either day. Yesterday my partner and I went on an adventure to The Quabbin Reservoir in Belchertown MA. Just before the entrance to the Windsor Dam we saw this little guy hanging out looking for some wild berries and nuts. He paused to let me steal this great pic. ~Believe in you~ |
I think that he was very cooperative and photogenic, don't you?? I wonder if the other three little deer we saw were part of the same deer family. I think you did a wonderful job of snapping a wonderful unexpected photo without interfering with his dinner (or YOU getting hit by cars.) I think the sentiment behind it is that many of life's experiences and adventures are unanticipated, unscripted and unexpected and it is about being in the moment to enjoy them. As always, I love watching you photograph things and think that your new blog is a fantastic creative outlet. Love you much, Alyse
ReplyDeleteI agree, unanticipated opportunities make some of the best creations. We were not expecting to see this guy or the other 3 we saw, but we were both so excited. Thank you for putting up with my random pauses at unplanned moments to take pictures. Love you, Christy
